The "evolution" of the blues has opened the door to many more musical interpretations of what the blues is today. 
Rock bands playing blues tunes seem to be in abundance. Yet, there are still those who are creatively expressing the idea of traditional blues. 
The door is open to everyone. The listening choice is still yours.

Do you think there are actually too many "blues bands" these days? On the road with Pete Ragusa back in the early 80s, he told me he thought so then.
