This is a nice video on Chuck Berry. It explains how Muddy helped him
get his foot in the door at Chess records, where he played Ida Red
(which was turned into Maybelline) and another tune (I figure it was
the bluesier Wee Wee Hours) and wowed the Chess brothers on the spot.
How some white radio stations pulled Maybelline when they learned
Chuck Berry was black. Other interesting comments from other stars.
Worth the time it takes to watch it.
