Carrie Smith, an iconic blues and jazz singer, entered into rest on
May 20, 2012. Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bethany
Baptist Church, 275 W. Market St., Newark, N.J., where visitation
will be held from 9 a.m. until time of services.
