Eden Brent, BP, and another venue bites the dust

Eden did a really good show last night, despite having to deal with
allergies. I bought her new cd, and recommend it to the List.

There was a good turnout too. It seems that business has been great since
local TV broadcast the story that the restaurant would be closing. Lewis
was working on putting together a "farewell" event for next Thursday, but
said last night that he might not have to close if business continued to be
so good. I received an email this morning from a music lover who was trying
to raise money to pay for his business and public health licenses. Maybe
there will be 'Good News' and a reprieve. As for BP and its consequences, I
can tell you that oysters from the Atlantic do not compare with those from
Apalachicola.

Wow Jimmy... That sucks! I had such a great time playing there w/Duke! Some
of the best food I ever ate, and such a great audience! GD BP... That's just

a horrifying shame. I don't know what else to say...
