Famous London Venue to close

The 100 Club, one of London's most famous music venues is scheduled to
close. Many of the great blues performers have appeared there. The first act
I saw there when I moved to London was Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee.


That's too bad. The "Son House in London" was recorded there. Al Wilson who had recorded with Son on Columbia in 1965 was in town with Canned Heat and he joined him for a few songs.

I think that JoAnne Kelly was the opener for Son . . .
