All well deserved, I'm sure. But ya know, Sam Lay's rarely playing the drums
hese days. He's been playing guitar. I'd sure like to see Kenny Smith get
ecognized. He's one of the hardest working drummers in the blues today, and
e's fantastic.
Ah, yeah, here we go bemoaning who didn't win, I know. Okay, say something
ositive: I would like to say that the Bobby Rush acoustic album, Raw, is
bsolutely terrific. It's deep blues in a very contemporary way.
How's that?
Hope all you guys who went had a good time at the BMAs!
