"'Black Magic Woman' by Root Doctor"
There is a party band in S.C. called The Root Doctors...is that maybe who
you are thinkin of??
In fact, I get calls for weddings for them about once every six months. I
should become their
Root Doctor is a band out of Michigan who has been together for a long
time. We play blues, soul,
and R&B. Unless somebody has a board tape from some old old show, we never
(in our present configuration) have performed
or recorded said song.
There is also a Rhut Doktor aka Roy Hightower who is the author of a song
called Root Doctor.
Anyhow, I am curious who this might be. Again, we haven't recorded the
song to the best of my knowledge. :)
THIS IS ROOT DOCTOR
