He was one of the few Blues artists that got played on pop am radio here 
on the west coast back in the '60s. I don't know why that is. He musta' 
had some good a&r/ pr peeps I 'spose.  He now gets played on the M.O.R. 
oldies stations along with Beatles, Dean Martin, Elvis etc.
Reed was pretty much a one trick pony, musically speaking, but it's 
still fun to play his songs.
