That's fair. I think most if not all of the professional photographers on this list are willing to help the artists and often give them pictures. I've offered to send a copy of every show I've taped to the performer. I have a couple going out hopefully this weekend in the mail. To me that's the polite thing to do and is a way of saying thanks. If they want to just review the show for their own purposes or decide to post a cut or two on their web site, fine with me. I doubt they would think any of the recordings are good enough to package and sell but that's up to them. I am certainly not going to sell them myself, that would be bootlegging.

I think one of the reasons I've been allowed to record is that either the artists are open to the idea or they know me or have met me at their shows before and they trust me, especially since I ask first rather than assume.
