what I know about the kid is; his entire recording career lasted from 
'46 to '52. He was last seen playing a gig with Gerry Mulligan in '54. 
There is speculation that he dropped out of the music biz altogether and 
lived in or near Detroit for 50 yrs.
Some say he has recently re-surfaced and is playing now. chec this out;
