 Link Wray was still doing it at the Ponderosa Stomp in 2005. The volume was
so loud I had to leave the Rock'n'Bowls main hall - and I was not the only
one. A shame because I liked what he was playing, and this was the first and
last time I'd had a chance to see him.

The loudest artist I ever heard was Link Wray at the Keystone in
Berkeley in the mid 70's- it was like getting your face smashed with
brass knuckles...
