PLAYLIST: WGLT/Bloomington IL blues spins for week of Oct 1 - 7, 2007

Hello Blues Lovers: 

Below is the weekly spins report for WGLT Blues (Oct 1 - 7, 2007).  This report includes all current releases in rotation. 

GLT now produces 168 hours of Blues Programming every week on GLT Blues Radio 24/7 @ wglt.org.  Included in that 168 hours are the regular 33 hours of weekend blues broadcast "over the airwaves" in Central IL.  Specific "over the air" broadcast hours are Friday night from 7 to midnight and Saturday night from 8 to midnight with "Delta" Frank Black, the Blues Doctor.  GLT Blues is also on the air Saturday from Midnight to 5am & Noon to 8 PM and Sunday from Midnight to 5am & Noon to 6 PM.  

During the 168 hours of local blues mentioned above, GLT plays the new releases listed below in addition to classic blues recordings from artists like Howlin Wolf, B.B. King, Ruth Brown, Buddy Guy, Sonny Boy Williamson, John Lee Hooker, Koko Taylor, Muddy Waters, and more.  We're also spinning recent releases that are now recurrent, and therefore unreported.  If you don't see your release, please reply to this email or call the number below. 

**In addition to broadcasting at 25-thousand watts on 89.1 FM from Bloomington/Normal IL, and the greater Peoria area with increased power on 103.5 FM, GLT Blues can now be heard all day, every day at http://www.wglt.org.  Just click on "GLT Blues 24/7" in the upper left corner of our website.
