I understand. I don't like it because blues was originated by black men & 
women. I know the saying speaks of the here and now but to ME (that's me not 
you) it's like it takes away from THEIR contribution - creation of the 
music. Whenever I see that on a sticker or whatever I tend to think of 
ownership instead the current 'scene' .

In regards to the here and now race does play a part in the music to me but 
it does in the creation of the music - So I see the sticker as us white 
folks trying to take credit for something that we didn't create (at least 
didn't help create in a positive way).

My thoughts nothing what-so-ever to do who can, who can't.....etc  The late 
great Johnny Copeland told me  'all God's children can sing'  that pretty 
much sums it for me. Hope that made sense
