Lost another one. John Phillips AKA Mr. Peet, 68 passed away Sunday,
March 18, at the University of California, Los Angeles Medical Center.
Johnny was a blues harmonica player. He inspired Kim Wilson way, way
back (Kim is from here, Santa Barbara).
Mr. Peet was a real gentleman. He is already greatly missed by the
locals here.
There will be a benefit memorial blues concert at 1 p.m. Sunday, April
22 in Ojai, featuring Kim Wilson of the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Mitch
Kashmar and many other great blues musicians. Please call 805-637-0427
or 805-525-7497 for information and reservations.

The family wants to extend their love and appreciation to the many
friends and extended family who made countless trips to UCLA during
John's illness.
"Man was not made to last but there's a light in every soul, the only
thing that matters are the stories he has told
i am now wiser than all time, richer than any man, and in the end love
is all there is, I finally understand"-michael p miller
