I think the song she was talking about is different than the one
written by Parish and White. Theirs is very upbeat as done by
Count Basie or Jimmy Rushing.

The T-Bone song has a progression that goes -- Im   bVII9  bVI9
Vb9 -- and is a slow 8-bar. It's very possible that Walker took
the older version, slowed it way down, altered the progression
slightly and added lyrics.
