KBBF

me and my blues bud, scatman leo, take trips to the KBBF on an infrequent
basis, due to schedules mostly, but we love it.

One of the big reasons we go is the freedom to check out the blues history
of the area. with such a large festival, we usually plan, in a general way,
to wander around the delta, going this way and that, maybe trying to find a
new jukejoint, mostly just soaking in the area. there is so much that
happens that weekend around that area. (not including casinos).

for an all-around blues trip, you cannot really beat the KBBF.

My wife and I went to a KBBF several years ago and had such a great time, we
make it an annual trip now! It's such a wonderful setting, with such a
great lineup each and every year. You can really tell it's such a labor of
love for the volunteers and we pray it continues. We also pray that they
are blessed with great weather this year. They surely deserve it. Last
year only one day/night was rain-free (Thursday), so we're really keeping
our fingers crossed they have dry weather this time around. If you've never
been to this one, you've missed a real treat. We'll be there every year as
long as it continues, which hopefully will be a long, long time.
