A few other suggestions, since they seem to be trickling in.....Ask him why
he felt compelled (or compassion enough) to perform/record blues at San
Quentin and Cook County Jail. Did he perform at any other correctional
facilities? Ask him if he ever knew any blues men/women who were wrongfully
sent up the river. Ask him if he ever saw a black man beat for looking "the
wrong way" at a white woman. Ask him if he ever felt that the KKK was a
threat to him or his family. Did he ever serve in the military? Serve any
