? re louisiana band, bob shurley & the vel-tones

I suspect the only person on this list that would be able to answer this,
or even care, would be England's Big Joe Louis, but if anyone else knows
who the guitarist is on Bob Shurley's "Jailbird," (on Goldband) please let
me know. Is/was Bob the guitarist? I have found out he had some earlier
releases as "Red Smiley & The Vel Tones, on the Jin label. chuck
