There's an infamous story in these parts (Tallahassee, FL) about a young
Ray driving a motorcycle on the city streets. I have some serious doubts
myself but I have witnessed blind people trying to do things sighted
people do. In fact I once played darts with a blind man in a juke joint
in Pensacola. He was pretty good if you gave him a couple of warm up
shots and told him how close he was to the bullseye. It was all fun and
games until he missed the dart board, the outcropping wall it was
attached to, and scored a direct hit to the head of the bass player's
instrument. (That's MUSICAL instrument, don't get carried away) We moved
on to bumper pool.
