For immediate release:

Silk City Records is pleased to announce the release of an all acoustic, all
live Compact Disc by Son Lewis (featuring Jerry Fierro on harmonica).

Marking a return to the style that he first started playing in the 1960's,
"The Country Blues" features Son on 12 Blues classics; including Bring It With
You When You Come, Baby What You Want Me To Do, Mama Taint Long, I Be
Troubled, Crawling Kingsnake, Drop Down Mamma, Pony Blues, Stones In My Passway,
Tell Me Mama, Give Me Some Of Your Pie, Found True Love and Jerry Fierro's
tribute to his teacher and mentor (Sonny Terry) Whoopin/I Got My Mojo Working.

Recorded live at the Wilson Auditorium at Fairleigh Dickenson University
(during a benefit performance for our friends at WFDU-FM) and at the scenic
Warwick Valley Winery for Doc's Blues and Barbeque Festival, this disc really
represents the excitement and passion that Lewis and Fierro have for the Country
Blues.

The CD will be available immediately at _www.silkcitycd.com_
(http://www.silkcitycd.com) . Digital Downloads of individual tunes (from over 20 legal
download sites) will be on line by Mid-December. This will be a limited pressing.

RADIO DJ's: Because we recognize that this was a labor of love with a
smaller acoustic audience than might be anticipated with a full band electric
recording, we are asking that you request airplay copies only if you feature
acoustic Blues on a regular basis. Airplay discs are pressed and ready to go so
please request your copies at this email address.
