        Hello.  I am turning this over to my daughter, Moire, so that she can
ask you a few questions.    Lashelle
        Hello.  Thank you for all the input that you have given me for my
project.  It has been very useful, but I have had to narrow my topic
down just a little more.  The maximum number of pages that I can have
is 6 and with Blues being such a broad topic this will be hard to do.
The guidelines also specify that the paper must be written on how
something was used for communication.
        I know that there are many "subcategories" of Blues.  I am interested
in the possibility that these subcategories developed to communicate
different ideas as a thesis.  One example of what I mean my
subcategories  might be "Delta Blues" and "Chicago Blues."  I do not
know most of the subcategories so I need your input here.  Also I need
your opinion on whether or not this is a valid thesis.  I need to be
able to put quoted statements into my paper.  May I have permission to
use your statements with the proper credit?  Thank you.  Moire
