Blues societies = blues nazis???

The term 'Folk nazi' has been around for a long time, and it is a specific
reference to those who insist that musical definitions be limited to a
narrow subset of the genre...only clawhammer banjo, with no synthetic heads
or strings, and peg tuners, etc. no matter how out of tune and unenjoyable
the sound...
My exposure to the term Blues nazi has been those who proclaim 'That isn't
real blues because...':
Wrong skin color
Wrong gender
Wrong age
Wrong instrumentation
Doesn't sound like other 'real blues' recordings...
So that's what popped into my mind when reading the post.
