On this day in 1877, Thomas Edison was the very first person to record
"Mary Had A Little Lamb". It was later covered by Buddy Guy and SRV.

On this day in 1926, Sippie Wallace recorded "I'm a Mighty Tight Woman."

On this day in 1955, after having agreed to play "16 Tons" (a song Ed
Sullivan liked), Bo Diddley waited to be introduced live on the air, and
went ahead and played "Bo Diddley" instead. Bo wasn't invited back.
