Reminds me of Diamond Teeth Mary. In her last years she frequently would
appear at other folks gigs, tear the house down, and then leave. She was a
dream to play for. She sang in the key of C, and apparently had perfect
pitch. She would just start singing, and if you were ready to play a C
chord... everything would sound like it was planned. She was a trip. She
would eventually have the whole audience on their feet, lined up, waiting
for a kiss. I miss her.
