There's a guitarist who should have been mentioned in that article.

Marty Grosz plays a fine, old-style chord guitar, a lot like Al Casey,
Fat's guitarist for so long and sings a lot like Fats.  A delightful
musician with a mordant wit like Fats as well.  One of his group
names was the "Bourgeoisie Scum"...

Fats himself could do the blues and make you like it, but from
what I hear in his records he really disdained it as being too
simplistic, an attitude shared by a lot of his contemporaries.
