On this day in 1925, Sarah Martin recorded "Down At The Razor Ball",
"Georgia Stockade Blues", and "Mournful Blues" in New York City for the
OKeh label.

On this day in 1966, a frightfully young P.W. Fenton married a frightfully
young Rosalyn Bisci, in a tiny little church, in the neighborhood where he
grew up. They were wed in the very building that in 1954 a six year old
P.W. made his professional singing debut, performing a moving rendition of
"Shortnin' Bread" while sitting on his daddy's knee. He was much less
nervous singing "Shortnin' Bread" than he was saying "I do".

On this day in 1977, Muddy Waters appeared in concert with Johnny Winter in
Westport, Connecticut. Also appearing with Muddy on this tour were Pinetop
Perkins, Walter Horton, Jerry Portnoy, Jimmie Rogers, Bob Margolin & Willie
Smith. Music recorded at this concert appeared on Blue Sky LP34928 and CD108
