Tribute for Beverly Watson, SF Bay Area

Friends of Bay Area's Diva of Rhythm and Blues singer Beverly Watson are
sponsoring a surprise tribute in her honor.  The musical tribute will
take place on Saturday, November 13, 2004, at Jimmy's Entertainment
Complex, 1731 San Pablo Ave., Oakland, CA  94612, 510-268-8445.

The all-star jam tribute will begin at 2:00 p.m. and run until 9:00 p.m.
or until the music stops.  There will be live performances by Bay Areas
artists such as: The Dynamic 4; The Bay Area Blues Caravan of Allstars
featuring Ronnie Stewart, Willie G, David "Styx" Boyette, and Teddy
"Blues Master" Watson; the Jackie Payne-Steve Edmonson Band; Alvon
Johnson and the Allstars, featuring Alvin Sykes; Sonata Pi; Lisa Carr;
Bobby Webb; Mary E. Hill-Cain; Barbara Gainer; and many more, plus a
surprise guest.   Tickets are $15.00 in advance (available at Jimmy's)
and $20.00 at the door.
