TORONTO WINTER FESTIVAL LOOKING FOR ARTISTS: 15 Showcase Opportunities Available - Now accepting applications for 45 minute showcases. One third of artists will be selected from Submissions! Winterfolk is committed to offer performance opportunities and public exposure to new or emerging artists - and all artists with little or no festival experience are invited to submit. Artists who wish to apply simply need to fill out the application on Showcase Page <http://www.winterfolk.com/Showcase.htm> - and send in their tunes.
SHOWCASE WINNERS will be offered full WINTERFOLK festival publicity, and will be included in all forms of promotion and exposure. At the festival, all performers are treated equally and showcase winners are not differentiated. We will post their pictures and bio on the WINTERFOLK website and print a listing in the festival program; allow unlimited performer and backstage privileges; grant full access to ALL festival events including other performances and music industry seminars; be invited to participate in a private consultation with the president of Borealis Records; sell their CDs at festival store; schedule stage opportunities between larger drawing acts - and we will work hard to ensure your WINTERFOLK weekend is both a rewarding personal as well as musical growth experience.
Letters from last year's showcase winners are now posted on our website. Please visit Winterfolk online at www.winterfolk.com for more details.
See you at Winterfolk,
