Hoodoo Man- Son Lewis
As an interpreter of classic traditional Blues, Son continues to prove to
audiences that the Blues is a vibrant and exciting form of musical
entertainment, whether he's performing as a solo artist or with his band. His
awards and accolades include Delta Snake Magazine's "1997 Retro Artist of the
Year", 1996 Winner of the Skyland Blues Talent Contest, 1996 Finalist in the
Blues Foundation's International Talent Contest, and a 1995 Recording Award
from the National Endowment for the Arts.

Son has worked as opening or support act for such legendary performers as
Johnny "Clyde" Copeland, Mose Allison, Savoy Brown, The Nighthawks, Rick
Danko, Rick Derringer, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Elvin Bishop, and The
Manhattan Transfer. He has played numerous festivals and clubs and appears
regularly on radio and television.  Selections from his release, "Next Train
Smokin'," have been broadcast on over 65 radio stations around the world.
